Rose-A-Lea Gardens was founded in 1975 by Jake Bulk. In April 1976, Rose-A-Lea Gardens cut and bunched its first roses from a new 30,000 square foot greenhouse, located in Mt. Brydges, Ontario.
Presently, Rose-A-Lea Gardens has 810,000 square feet of state-of-the-art
greenhouses and 20 acres of outside summer production.
Rose-A-Lea Gardens is one of the largest growers of fresh-cut flowers and potted plants in Ontario. It is known for superb quality product and excellent service. Product from many companies around the world are imported to meet the needs of all customers. Our clientele includes retail florists, chain stores, and wholesale companies throughout Ontario and parts of the United States.
The major product - roses - was marketed to local florists and distributers. In those days, Rose-A-Lea Gardens was a "hands-on" business that valued a quality product, hard work, and service excellance. Many changes have occured since 1976, but our values have remained the same.
Rose-A-Lea Gardens' commitment to producing quality product and providing excellent service is on going. Using traditional values, and state-of-the-art programs and techniques, we will continue to meet every customer's needs.
Rose-A-Lea Gardens Mt. Brydges plant is where the head office is located. Processing of all product including grading, bunching, packaging and marketing all takes place in
Mt. Brydges.
